Equitex Medicated Poultice Dressing is a versatile, non-sterile dressing for horses, containing Boric Acid (60g/kg) as the active ingredient and Tragacanth (136g/kg). It’s made from 100% cotton with a non-woven cover and a plastic backing to retain heat when used as a hot dressing.
Hot, Cold, or Dry Dressing: Can be used for heat retention, cooling, or as pressure padding.
Customizable: Can be cut to the desired size (20cm x 40cm).
Versatile: Ideal for various wound care applications.
Hot Poultice: Soak in water at 38°C, squeeze out excess, and apply with plastic backing away from skin.
Cold Poultice: Chill in the fridge or soak in cool water, then apply.
