(well not really 101, but who would of thought it was so useful )
Garden Fertiliser - Simply mix 2 teaspoons of Molasses per litre of water and spray directly onto your plants (this mixture can be used alongside your seaweed/fish and general fertiliser.)
Rust Removal - This is a process called Chelating. Molasses reverses the oxidation process leaving the metal behind. (Warning, once the rust is removed you MUST use a metal protectant straight away on your item, to prevent oxidation from starting again)
Feed Supplement - used for livestock for a variety of reasons, these may be weaning livestock onto a new feed mixture, making a salt lick more appealing, adding to feed mixtures to increase digestible energy, as molasses is recognised as a valuable and convenient source of metabolisable energy (11 MJ/kg DM)
Compost Bin - Similar to the fertiliser, spray 500ml onto your compost every week, this will help to strengthen the microorganisms that will later return the favour and help your garden bloom.
Facial Mask - Believe it or not, molasses is great for wrinkles and acne. It is basically food for the skin! Apply 1 tbsp molasses by massaging into your skin until no longer sticky. Leave this on all night and rinse off in the morning with warm water, alternatively, leave it on your skin for as long as tolerable, and wash off with warm water.
Molasses is reported to help with acne, eczema, and rosacea and is also a great skin softening agent.
