Anitone is the only liquid animal supplement available on the market for animal production with such a comprehensive range of ingredients, containing not only essential minerals, but also amino acids, and Vitamins A, D and Vitamin E. Anitone is the only feed supplement on the market that is fermented in a process that mimics natural digestive processes, and is therefore highly palatable and relished by most animals.

Who can use Anitone?

Horses

Horses are the superior livestock, being more frequently classed as companion animals because they are expected to live long and productive lives. Longevity is always underscored by good nutrition, and access to plenty of minerals – one way to ensure this is to include Anitone in the daily diet, as the mineral content of commonly fed forages is highly variable and rarely adequate.

Since most horse properties run high stocking rates, their soils are compacted and depleted hence they cannot rely on pastures alone to provide the total ration. The nutrient quality and mineral content of purchased forages also depends on the variations of soil, climate and season. Therefore, it is almost impossible under these conditions to ensure that a horse’s diet is perfectly balanced at all times.

Anitone helps to bridge the gap between processed feeds and perfect pastures, and is the ideal supplement for horses under the stress of training, performance, pregnancy, lactation and growth.

Sheep
Anitone animal supplements and sheep

"It’s in the feeding, not the breeding” is an old farmer’s rule of thumb. Sheep grazing out on pasture are particularly at risk of essential mineral and trace element deficiencies, not to mention commonly also deficiencies of protein and energy! There are huge variations in pastures, even on the same farm, due to soil types, season and climate, and management.

During long dry Australian summers, feed on offer can be in very short supply and supplementary feeding is necessary to keep sheep alive. Serious deficiencies of minerals and Vitamins such as A, D and E can occur at these times, or may be subclinical, but will frequently result in infertility, lamb deaths and poor weight gains, which all impact overall farm productivity.

Anitone has evolved into a helpful tool for the sheep farmer because in these operations it becomes the true multi tasker. Firstly Anitone is well suited for coating grain for trail feeding or lick feeders and is highly relished by the sheep and will encourage shy feeders. Secondly Anitone can be mixed with many commercial drenches or just as easily drenched alone whenever sheep come into the yards.

Birds

Proper independent trials using Anitone in watering systems have been conducted in commercial chicken operations and found to significantly reduce mortality and increase feed conversion.

Intensive poultry production uses scientifically balanced rations, but there are inevitable periods of stress in the bird’s life cycle.

Anitone is especially useful in establishing day old chickens when they have been subjected to the stress of transport and need settling in, which is usually a time of high mortality. It may be administered via watering systems or mixed with the ration for the first week or so.

Beef and Dairy Cattle
Anitone is a great supplement for beef cattle

On the productive beef enterprise, every cow must raise a calf a year, and she must reach an ideal weight to start her reproductive life at the right age, then continue this reproductive life as long as possible.

Repeated pregnancy and lactations take their toll on the mother, and she can become depleted very easily.

It can be difficult to supplement cattle on dams out on pasture with an oral liquid supplement such as Anitone, and therefore good pasture management, plus the use of high quality free choice licks when necessary is most practical in these conditions. However, wherever it is possible to water cattle via troughs, it is possible to use Anitone in the watering systems at low and regular doses to gain the benefit of the humates and array of 60 trace minerals, which would be rarely contained in pasture. Many producers running cattle in dry climates choose to add Anitone to the watering troughs during the hot summer months.

Dogs
Anitone supplements for happy, healthy dogs

Pets are essentially captive animals, confined by the boundaries of pen, house or yard, and are therefore unable to obtain the wild food that their ancestral blue print would have consumed or hunted.

The wild hunting carnivores ate the full carcass of their kill, and this included its gut contents, which would have been partially digested, fermented plant material. Such a diet is almost impossible to reproduce in the urbanized pet living in the modern world, however, there is a large range of scientifically balanced processed foods on the market that do provide a very high level of nutrition.

However, these foods by their nature are highly processed, and pass through the digestive system very quickly, hence are tagged as being “highly digestible”. Whilst they may contain all the minerals that are listed on their packaging, it is unknown whether all pets can absorb and assimilate all of these minerals and vitamins at all times in their lives.

Anitone has proven to be a very useful addition to the diet of any pets with skin problems, or chronic degenerative disease, or those that are elderly. It can be easily poured over their biscuits, canned food, or raw meat diets either daily or a few times a week. Treats or food morsels can be dipped in Anitone (as you would use a dipping sauce on the human table) and then fed. Some fussy animals take a little while to get used to Anitone, as it has a pungent, fermented smell, but it is generally highly palatable and they will start to take it when a little hungry, and then continue to accept it readily.

Goats
Anitone animal supplements for healthy goats

Goats are browsing animals by nature who would naturally consume more mineral rich higher vegetation from trees and shrubs, as well as grasses. Therefore goats have quite high and critical mineral requirements, and may more easily become depleted on pasture based systems where they are prevented from free range foraging.

Mineral supplementation is therefore generally recommended for all goat farming operations in confined conditions, whereas free ranging feral goats in pastoral regions are able to overcome potential deficiencies by consuming a huge variety of forage across vast acreages.

Pigs
Pigs are healthy when using Anitone animal supplements

In modern agriculture, pigs are under intense pressure to grow and reproduce as fast as possible.

Intensive piggeries feed complete rations that are scientifically balanced to cover all bases.

However, there are periods of stress in the intensive piggery cycle for any pigs at weaning time, and at farrowing, when a product such as Anitone comes in handy.

Frequently weaner pigs are inappetant, and Anitone is very useful at this time as an appetite stimulant and general boost to wellbeing and the immune system of the young pig. It can be easily administered orally, added to rations or watering systems. Small daily doses of Anitone during periods of stress will provide extra supplementation of many nutrients that are lacking from pelleted and processed feeds, and where pigs are shedded and cannot access fresh ground.

Camels and Alpacas
Alpacas are healthy using Anitone animal supplements

Anitone was first commercially developed for the racing camel market in the Middle East, where camels perform in arduous conditions, and are fed a diet of imported feeds.

Nutritional deficiencies in racing camels are therefore rife, and profoundly affect camel health and performance.

Anitone is a very useful product for both camels and alpacas, as it is highly palatable to them, and therefore easy to administer in either feed or water, allowing daily dosage with no stress to the animal or product wastage.

Additionally, Anitone is a highly robust product with a long stable shelf life, as it was originally designed to go to the Middle East and withstand less than ideal storage conditions in hot tin sheds
